Virginia Commonwealth University invites applications and nominations for the position of Vice President for Diversity and Equity.

This Vice President for Diversity and Equity is VCU’s chief diversity officer, providing leadership in the planning, promotion and advancement of a campus culture that values equity, diversity and inclusiveness. This position is responsible for providing integrated and strategic oversight for VCU’s diversity, equity and inclusion programs and services, which include education, training, communication and reporting as well as management of the compliance and advocacy services within the office. The Vice President works with the President and Provost in the development and execution of a strategic plan for diversity and equity-related functions, which includes the development of best practice policies, programs and services.
