VCU Position Search - Vice Provost for Strategic Enrollment Management


Virginia Commonwealth University and the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs invites applications and nominations for the position of Vice Provost for Strategic Enrollment Management. The new vice provost will lead the new Office of Strategic Enrollment Management.

With an increased emphasis on the appropriate mix of students as well as meeting enrollment targets for each academic unit, it is necessary to provide a new structural model that will enhance the development of new strategies to attract a diverse and talented student body while managing enrollment. With the strategic priority now focused on retaining and graduating students, the Office of Strategic Enrollment Management will provide primary oversight for the recruitment, retention and graduation of students at all levels. The new office will include recruitment, admissions, financial aid and other enrollment services. 

VCU is one of the state’s largest universities and ranks among the top universities in the country in sponsored research. It enrolls over 30,000 students in 216 certificate and degree programs: 68 of the programs are unique in Virginia, many of them crossing the disciplines of VCU’s 13 academic schools and one college. MCV Hospitals and the health sciences schools of Virginia Commonwealth University compose the VCU Medical Center, one of the nation’s leading academic medical centers. VCU’s third campus is located in Doha, Qatar.
